Meeting Professionals International Iberian Awards<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

March 30th is Global Meetings Industry Day (GMID) and, as always, MPI Iberian Chapter celebrates the GMID alongside its annual awards ceremony. This year is the fifth edition of the same event\u2014it will be held at Fycma, Malaga.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are honoured to collaborate in this celebration. We are partners and sponsors of MPI Iberian Chapter. We are providing an all-in-one solution for the website, registrations, badges and check-ins. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will deliver one of the awards and our CMO, Mentxu Sendino, is part of the jury. They held a meeting last March 15th at the Bless Hotel in Madrid. A total of 23 professionals from the MICE sector casted their vote for each of the 10 categories. For this edition, there were new categories such as \u201cSenior Event Professional\u201d (>58 years old) to highlight professionals who have spent a lifetime dedicated to the sector. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For this year\u2019s edition, MPI Iberian Chapter has also achieved the highest number of nominations submitted so far for the MPI Iberian Awards with an increase of 60% compared to 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Global Mice Forums Iberian Edition<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The end of this week coincides with the celebration of the GMF Iberian Edition in La Rioja. Our Sales Director in Spain, Alex Barbero, will represent Eventscase in the pure-networking meeting between buyers and suppliers of the MICE industry in the Iberian Peninsula.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In terms of content, sustainability and ROI will be the educational focus of the forum. The event will focus on the return on investment (ROI) of marketing and other intangible assets such as event sustainability programmes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pablo Turletti will inspire audiences to think using new management models that guarantee and measure the economic profitability of marketing and events projects to generate social equity and environmental sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n

Madrid City Tourism Forum 2023<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

On March 27th, the \u201cMadrid City Tourism Forum\u201d will be held at the Hotel Meli\u00e1 Castilla. It is organised by the Madrid City Council Tourism. We are particularly excited to provide the registration and check-in solution for this event since it will bring together international industry experts to discuss the positioning of Madrid as a tourist destination\u2014its competitive advantages and the key to its success.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Mayor of Madrid, Jos\u00e9 Luis Mart\u00ednez-Almeida, will be present at one of the round tables, and the Forum will be closed by Zurab Pololikashvili, Secretary General of the World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

INTERNATIONAL CONFEX 2023<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We would like to end this monthly newsletter with the first event we attended this month, the International Confex 2023, which took place on March 1st and 2nd in London.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our team participated as exhibitors at what is considered to be the leading trade show for the events industry and the largest gathering for event professionals in the UK.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was a perfect occasion to meet face to face with clients, potential clients, and even friends and colleagues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
