GMID 2025 and the 7th MPI Iberian Awards: A Celebration of the Events Industry<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

On April 3rd<\/strong>, Valencia became the epicentre of the MICE industry with the Global Meetings Industry Day (GMID) 2025<\/strong>, hosted at Feria Valencia<\/strong> by the MPI Iberian Chapter<\/strong>. This day, which takes place simultaneously in more than 20 countries, seeks to highlight the impact of meetings and events on the global economy, bringing together the main players in the sector.This year\u2019s GMID had special significance<\/strong> for Eventscase: it was also the stage for the prestigious MPI Iberian Awards<\/strong>, honoring excellence, sustainability, innovation, and leadership in the events sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Gala Celebrating the Best in the Industry<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

More than 180 professionals<\/strong> gathered for the 7th edition of the MPI Iberian Awards. The atmosphere was filled with excitement, recognition, and strong industry camaraderie\u2014highlighting the importance of collaboration in driving the sector forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Award categories honored individuals, companies, and initiatives that made a lasting impact. Among the winners was our own CTO, Iv\u00e1n Garc\u00eda<\/strong>, who received the Innovation Champion<\/strong> award. A Space for Ideas and Innovation<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Beyond the awards, GMID serves as a dynamic forum where we reconnect with clients, partners, and peers. Since we began our collaboration with the MPI Iberian Chapter seven years ago, GMID has been a key date on our calendar\u2014and the perfect moment to launch innovations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last year in Barcelona, we introduced EVA<\/strong>, our Event Virtual Assistant. This year, GMID attendees became influencers thanks to EVA Social<\/strong>, a tool designed to boost engagement at events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our active role in GMID and recognition in the awards ceremony reinforce our long-standing commitment to innovation and industry growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Iv\u00e1n Garc\u00eda: Innovation Champion<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

At the MPI Iberian Awards, our CTO and co-founder Iv\u00e1n Garc\u00eda<\/strong> received the Innovation Champion<\/strong> award, presented by Andr\u00e9s Merino of Global MICE Forums. The award recognizes Iv\u00e1n\u2019s work in developing tech solutions that have positively impacted the events industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was also a finalist in the Under 35 Professional category, which was awarded to Casandra Mansilla.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eventscase at the 8th MICE Summit<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

On April 10th, we participated in the 8th MICE Forum at the El Olivar Complex in Alcal\u00e1 de Henares. The event brought together over 400 professionals and stakeholders from across the institutional, business, and association landscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Madrid Office Director, M\u00f3nica Garc\u00eda, represented Eventscase at this influential gathering. The summit promoted collaboration and unity across associations, reinforcing its role as a leading forum for industry dialogue and shared goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
