AEVEA Awards 2025: Recognising Excellence in Events
The second edition of the AEVEA Awards 2025 took place on February 19th at the Gran Teatro CaixaBank Príncipe Pío in Madrid, awarding the best of the events industry in Spain. This gala, inspired by the Movida Madrileña of the 1980s, honored innovative projects and outstanding professionals in the sector.
The Best Project of the Year award went to the America’s Cup and Emirates Team New Zealand, led by agencies Experientia, Burson and Teammate. This recognition highlights the importance of creativity and flawless execution in high-profile sporting events.
Eric Mottard, CEO of the Eventoplus Group, received the Honorary Award for his contribution to the industry. According to Mariano Rodríguez, president of AEVEA, who presented the award, Mottard was recognized “for his energy, his vision, and for teaching us that events are not just meetings but experiences that transform people.”
Through EVA Social, Eventscase enhanced attendee engagement by creating an online wall where attendees could see all event photos shared via WhatsApp, along with posts featuring the gala’s official hashtag. In addition to this feature, organisers used our smart chatbot to send notifications, keeping attendees informed before and during the event.
Global MICE Forums: Corporate Edition in Gijón 2025
The Global MICE Forum Corporate Edition, one of Spain’s key events in the Meetings & Events industry, brought together the best supply and demand of the corporate events sector in Gijón. From February 20th to 22nd, our Director of the Madrid Office, Mónica García, attended this gathering, where, once again, connections took center stage.
This edition of the GMF was designed for Event Managers, Marketing Managers, and Event Purchasing Managers from major Spanish and multinational companies, as well as suppliers across the entire MICE value chain.
Our partners at Padcelona facilitated an interactive exchange of feedback through a dynamic survey for buyers and suppliers. Participants could view the results in real time, sparking an engaging and insightful debate.
Partnership between Walls.io and Eventscase
Eventscase continues to strengthen its market position through strategic partnerships. Last week, we announced our partnership with Walls.io, experts in leveraging user-generated content for events through online walls where attendees can share their experiences.
By integrating the interactive Walls.io walls into our EVA Social solution, Eventscase enables attendees to upload event photos via their AI assistant on WhatsApp, making them visible to all participants. Additionally, social media posts featuring the event’s official hashtags are displayed on the wall, creating a dynamic and engaging experience
Beyond EVA Social, this partnership allows our clients to incorporate Walls.io’s feature-rich walls into our Event App and Digital Venue, further enhancing audience interaction and engagement.
