Table of Contents

Many of us may have started January with a renewed perspective on life and with more motivation than ever. We at Eventscase are no different and we’re excited to share exciting news to kickstart the year. This Monthly News Roundup, as usual, is replete with new content and details on our activities as a company.

NEW CONTENT TYPE: “DID YOU KNOW?”

Our platform continues to grow as our clients’ needs also get diversified. Your feedback, ideas, and even the particular way in which each one of you uses Eventscase are an inexhaustible source to define points for improvement.

From next month onwards, we will be bringing to you a new content type under the “Did you know?” campaign where we will share some of the lesser-known features of our platform. This will help you make the most out of our software and utilise event tech to its fullest for all your events. This new content will be cascaded to you in the form of emails, blog posts and video clips that we will share on our social networks, allowing you to ultimately watch on-demand content straight from our Digital Venue!

EVENTS WITH ASSOCIATIONS

We are very grateful to collaborate with industry associations once again in 2023. This month, we have renewed our partnership with AEVEA (Agencias de Eventos Españolas Asociadas), which has already spanned three years, by providing the event technology for their General Assembly which took place in Madrid, Spain.

We offered registrations, the event website, and the Digital Venue. AEVEA used polls for live voting on different points concerning their organisation. In addition, partners who could not make it to the “Unonueve” space in Madrid in person were able to access the streaming and participate via live chats.

And we have more events with other partner associations! On Friday, January 27th, we will be participating in Murcia, Spain for a roundtable called “MICE Sector: To be or not to be” as part of the Road Show organised by the EMA (Event Managers Association Spain). Our CMO, Mentxu Sendino, will be accompanied by Alberto Gómez, Director at Eventsost, Luis Bajo, EMA Vice President and Head of Communications for Nissan Motor Ibérica, and Felipe Saldaña, President of the Murcia Congress Office and Director of the Sercotel Amistad. The discussion, which will centre on technology and sustainability, will be moderated by Rafael Grande, EMA’s General Manager.

As we have told you in the past, we are also members of the Valencia Convention Bureau which allows us to participate in many activities and events. This year we have had the opportunity to be at FITUR—for the first time—which is the largest professional tourism fair in Spain. We collaborated within the Comunitat Valenciana stand, specifically in the area for technology companies.

NEW WHITEPAPER ON SUSTAINABILITY

Always attentive to industry trends, we wanted to highlight one of the hottest topics in the events industry in recent times: sustainability. From our perspective as a technology company, we have collected a series of tips, ideas and suggestions to make your events more sustainable.

We started by raising awareness of the carbon footprint of our events and the measures that exist to minimise it. We have also explored the use of technology as an opportunity to avoid the use of paper and other printed materials.

If you want to download this new whitepaper, just click on the button below. As part of its contents, we have included a case study on the UN COP Summits to answer the question: Are events from industry-leading institutions sustainable events in themselves?
