The year 2023 has nothing been short of momentous for us at Eventscase. From January until December, our team delivered new solutions, organised events, broke tech barriers in the events industry and forged new partnerships. All these achievements were inconceivable to us 11 years ago when we marked our humble beginnings.
This special Christmas newsletter brings to you everything we are proud of as a company in celebration of the year that was. We invite you to commemorate with us, especially to our loyal readers who continue to support everything we do at Eventscase.
A year of learning
At the start of the year, we started a new educational initiative called the “Did you know?” series which explored lesser-known functionalities of the Eventscase platform. Through our in-house gurus, we have delivered 10 episodes replete with tips and tricks on how to maximise Eventscase. If you want to access these sessions, click here.
This year, we have also released several whitepapers covering essential topics including gamification, sustainability, diversity, the attendee experience, and storytelling.
Events, events – and more events
We have participated in major industry events in 2023 including International Confex, Event Tech Live, and IBTM World.
What we are most proud of is an event which we have organised ourselves back in June called the “Encuentro de Inovación”. It was held in Madrid and was considered a huge success after we managed to invite heads of major events associations in Spain to talk about the future of our industry in our post-pandemic setting. We anchored the discussions on event technology and how it will continually affect event professionals in the coming years.
Here’s a video that nicely encapsulates this day on 15 June.
Lastly, we have renewed our efforts to hold breakfast meetings at the British and Spanish capitals this year. The last one was held in London on 5 December.
Joint venture with Padcelona: Event Tech Hub
In September, we were proud to foster a new business relationship with a tech agency in Barcelona called Padcelona. We established a joint venture called ‘Event Tech Hub’ which brings together our solutions and services to provide a 360º approach to event management. This partnership was put to good use during the Valencia Digital Summit, an event which garnered over 10,000 attendees in the City of Arts and Sciences, Valencia on 26 and 27 October.

AI Assistant – A first in the industry
To cap off the year, our team has managed to release the first ChatGPT integrated into an event management platform in November. We call this tool the ‘AI Assistant’. As advocates of event technology, it was about time that we expanded our solutions to include artificial intelligence which has become an overarching theme in 2023 for most techies.
Happy holidays
To our followers who read our newsletters every month, we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your loyalty and support. In the spirit of the upcoming holidays, we would like to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
We will definitely see each other in 2024. So keep posted!
