In session #14 of our “Did you know?” series, we unveiled key improvements to our Digital Venue agenda, promising a smoother experience for organisers and participants. Below, we’ll delve into the highlights of this update.
New Agenda Structure
List of Sessions
The most notable change is the separation between the “session list” and the “session page”. Now, when attendees access the list, they will only see essential information for each session, which alleviates data overload and significantly improves navigation.
Session Page
Each session now has its own detailed page, where all relevant information can be found. This includes elements such as the registration button, if the session requires prior registration, and shortcuts to videos if the session includes audiovisual content.
Improved Interaction
One of the advantages of the new design is the ability to interact without the need to be watching the video in progress, ideal for those attending hybrid events in person. This functionality is available on both the session page and the streaming page, allowing all attendees to interact simultaneously, regardless of their location.
Streaming Configuration
Streaming Management
In addition, during the latest session, we reviewed the streaming options available within the Digital Venue. In the “contents” section, each stream associated with any session can be configured intuitively and flexibly. This allows for the selection of various video providers or the use of proprietary tools such as Eventscase RTMP.
Live Interaction
In addition to streaming, the platform allows for a variety of live interaction options, offering tools such as live chat, polls, and Q&A, all customisable to suit the needs of the event.
Conclusion
The redesign of our Digital Venue agenda represents a significant advancement in how organisers and attendees interact with our platform. These improvements not only optimise the user experience but also enhance opportunities for interaction and participation in future events.
