Summer and holidays are approaching, but we still have a lot to share. As we wrap up a busy six months with numerous developments at Eventscase, it’s clear that since EVA (Event Virtual Assistant) joined us in April, our activity has been intense and dynamic. It’s almost like we need a break. 😉
Every two weeks, we’ve launched an improvement to our intelligent AI chatbot on WhatsApp. Here’s a summary so far of our progress:
EVA: How can I help?
EVA started with three basic yet effective functionalities: sending QR codes for check-in and badging, sending informative notifications planned by the organiser, and facilitating natural language interactions between EVA and attendees about everything related to the event.
We have since trained EVA to handle unanswered questions by automatically emailing the organiser with the conversation context, ensuring no query is left unresolved.
Additionally, we launched a dynamic demo so you can experience firsthand what it’s like to interact with EVA. Click on this link or scan the QR code below to try it out.
But there’s more! Our development team wanted to make EVA indispensable at events by introducing a networking component, making it exponentially more useful.
Lead Retrieval Using EVA: How does it work?
In three simple steps, without needing extra applications for contact scanning or lead retrieval, and no specialised technical knowledge (as demonstrated in our video):
1. The attendee takes a photo of another attendee’s badge (specifically the QR code).
2. EVA recognizes the QR code, shows the badge details, and asks if you want to share your details with that person.
3. If you say yes, EVA sends your data (name, surname, company, position, email, and phone number) to the other attendee.

Next steps
As mentioned earlier, we’re making the most of our time before the holidays. We’re excited to soon launch EVA Travel, a feature that allows our smart assistant to answer questions about flights, hotels, and travel information if included in the registration form. Stay tuned for more details!
New episode of the Eventscase Podcast
In episode six, we highlight our newly renovated and strengthened support department. Onsite service experts Sergi Palomar and Luis Opderbeck discuss their work to offer the best onsite experience during the badge printing and check-in process at events.
They cover understanding client objectives, the best options to meet each need, the challenges they face, and how their commitment, paired with the best technology, provides a complete solution for both organisers and attendees.

Eventscase in CNIS 2024
On the 25th and 26th of June, the #CNIS2024 (National Congress of Innovation and Public Services) was held at La Nave in Madrid, organised by the Innovation Club. Eventscase played a leading role in access control, onsite badging, registration, and event app management, along with our Event Virtual Assistant (EVA), which provided timely information to attendees throughout the event.
With over 1,300 registered attendees, our team ensured that badging went smoothly and efficiently.
We were delighted to collaborate with the organising team and are thrilled that Eventscase technology supported an event aimed at boosting Public Innovation. The event featured an extensive program with nearly 200 speakers and 100 sessions, including 20 round tables, 50 lectures, and 25 workshops.

Eventscase at the Smart Business: Innovation and Values celebration
For the fourth consecutive year, we were technology partners at the Smart Business: Innovation & Values event. This year, under the slogan “Objetivo Green Deal,” international experts debated innovation, digital transformation, and new proposals in Valencia, Spain. We were delighted to contribute to this initiative.
EVA also guided attendees throughout the day, answering questions and informing them of the latest event updates. EVA also streamlined check-in as attendees had their QR codes on WhatsApp.
This concludes our monthly newsletter. We bid you farewell until after the summer. Stay updated by following our social media channels.
