The IE Graduation is a highly expected event by all IE University students. It’s a unique moment, a closing cycle in the lives of about 10,000 undergraduates.
But in 2020, the IE Graduation looked different. It was the first time they had to do 100% online events for the so expected Graduation Ceremony.
Hans Munthe Kaas, IE University Events Coordinator, said: “The greatest challenge and the biggest barrier is to transition from a fully physical event to a fully virtual experience while keeping engagement at the same level. Innovating in activities ranging from the actual recording to the different activities was a key success factor.”
