As 2023 moves forward, we can’t help but be grateful that we’re fulfilling one of our New Year’s resolutions. We’ve always thought that this year would be pivotal. We swore that it would be the time for us to return to the venues, trade fairs and networking events. And so we did! We also claimed that 2023 would be when we’d organise physical events again for our own network and clients—this is also turning into reality in June.
In this monthly review of everything related to Eventscase, we will talk about the events we are running or are directly part of. We will also highlight the latest content produced by our team: a whitepaper that focuses on the use of storytelling techniques in designing and planning events.
EVENT TECHNOLOGY FORUM
The Event Technology Forum is a highly specialised event that brings together meetings and events professionals along with the industry’s leading solution providers. It consists of one-to-one business meetings, interactive seminars and valuable networking opportunities.
We have become regulars at the networking events organised by the Forum Events team because they bring together groups of people who can positively impact each other. On 3rd May at the Event Technology Forum, held at the Hilton London Canary Wharf, our MD, Jon Tupper, participated and had valuable meetings with potential clients. The next event will be after the summer at the ‘Event Organisers Summit’ on the 2nd and 3rd of October.
#EMALearn with EVENT MANAGERS ASSOCIATION (EMA)
We continue to collaborate with the EMA, the Spanish Event Managers Association. We have been working with them for several years now as we advocate for professional corporate event organisers.
In May, our tool has facilitated the registration and access to two #EMALearn events focused on sustainability and events. We had the opportunity to learn from Alberto Gómez from Eventsost on how to make events sustainable. Both events were hosted in Madrid and Barcelona.
We are already looking forward to similar events that they will organise in the future such as the ‘Be EMAs’ on 26th October.
WHITEPAPER ON STORYTELLING
This month, we also had the time and resources to publish a new whitepaper. In this new document, we have focused on the importance of storytelling to create unforgettable events.
It is inevitable for different events to resemble one another and become monotonous, especially if you join too many events in one year. One way to avoid this is to incorporate narrative elements into the event design and concept. This is precisely what our whitepaper talks about, which you can download by clicking on the button below.
OUR JUNE EVENTS
We couldn’t finish this post without reminding you that we are organising two events in June!
On 15th June, at Espacio Unonueve in Madrid, we will be holding the ‘1st Eventscase Innovation Meeting’. The agenda will be dedicated to training, networking, and exchange of experiences. We will listen to representatives of industry associations and some of our clients will present case studies. In addition, our development and innovation team will present new technological possibilities for event management.
On 29th June, we will be in London at the Elton Suite of Here Spaces & Events. We will organise a ‘Business Breakfast’ with our internal network and a few clients. It will be an exclusive and relaxed event and the conversation will be led by our UK Managing Director, Jon Tupper.
We look forward to seeing you there!
