GMID 2025 and the 7th MPI Iberian Awards: A Celebration of the Events Industry
On April 3rd, Valencia became the epicentre of the MICE industry with the Global Meetings Industry Day (GMID) 2025, hosted at Feria Valencia by the MPI Iberian Chapter. This day, which takes place simultaneously in more than 20 countries, seeks to highlight the impact of meetings and events on the global economy, bringing together the main players in the sector.This year’s GMID had special significance for Eventscase: it was also the stage for the prestigious MPI Iberian Awards, honoring excellence, sustainability, innovation, and leadership in the events sector.
A Gala Celebrating the Best in the Industry
More than 180 professionals gathered for the 7th edition of the MPI Iberian Awards. The atmosphere was filled with excitement, recognition, and strong industry camaraderie—highlighting the importance of collaboration in driving the sector forward.
Award categories honored individuals, companies, and initiatives that made a lasting impact. Among the winners was our own CTO, Iván García, who received the Innovation Champion award. Other categories recognized emerging talent, sustainability efforts, and outstanding leadership:

A Space for Ideas and Innovation
Beyond the awards, GMID serves as a dynamic forum where we reconnect with clients, partners, and peers. Since we began our collaboration with the MPI Iberian Chapter seven years ago, GMID has been a key date on our calendar—and the perfect moment to launch innovations.
Last year in Barcelona, we introduced EVA, our Event Virtual Assistant. This year, GMID attendees became influencers thanks to EVA Social, a tool designed to boost engagement at events.
Our active role in GMID and recognition in the awards ceremony reinforce our long-standing commitment to innovation and industry growth.
Iván García: Innovation Champion
At the MPI Iberian Awards, our CTO and co-founder Iván García received the Innovation Champion award, presented by Andrés Merino of Global MICE Forums. The award recognizes Iván’s work in developing tech solutions that have positively impacted the events industry.
He was also a finalist in the Under 35 Professional category, which was awarded to Casandra Mansilla.

Eventscase at the 8th MICE Summit
On April 10th, we participated in the 8th MICE Forum at the El Olivar Complex in Alcalá de Henares. The event brought together over 400 professionals and stakeholders from across the institutional, business, and association landscape.
Our Madrid Office Director, Mónica García, represented Eventscase at this influential gathering. The summit promoted collaboration and unity across associations, reinforcing its role as a leading forum for industry dialogue and shared goals.
Internal Team Meeting: Fostering Unity and Strategy
During April, we also held an internal meeting that brought the Eventscase team together for two intensive days. It provided a valuable opportunity to align strategies, review progress, and strengthen collaboration across departments.
In a spirit of teamwork, we discussed upcoming challenges and celebrated recent achievements. With many opportunities on the horizon, we’re confident—thanks to the ongoing support of each and every one of you—that we can turn them into meaningful successes.
