The end of February and the last few weeks of March have been pleasantly hectic at Eventscase. We exhibited at major trade shows, participated in networking events, and even managed our own events. All of these activities were an opportunity to keep in touch with event organisers like you who have brought the industry back to pre-pandemic numbers. And that’s a win we must celebrate!
Let’s get on with this monthly review of Eventscase news…
INTERNATIONAL CONFEX
For the sixth consecutive year, we were present at International Confex on 28 and 29 February.
Confex, which has been held for 40 years, has become an unmissable event for event professionals of all levels. The event agenda was packed with sessions from over 60 industry-leading speakers. Members from all areas of the industry joined forces to challenge, educate and inspire attendees to reach their full potential and expand their horizons.
The value you get on site doesn’t just stay on site. Confex is a year-round resource centre that showcases the latest developments in the industry and offers support to anyone looking for a “one-stop shop” for event planning and organisation.
Our team, led by Jon Dodd, presented new Eventscase products, with our AI Assistant taking centre stage.
AEVEA AWARDS 2024
The 21st of February was the day chosen by AEVEA, Agencias Españolas de Eventos Asociadas, to celebrate the presentation of the 1st AEVEA Awards. These awards were created with the aim of recognising the role of event organising agencies as a key element in achieving the marketing and business objectives of companies.
It was a gala full of music, humour and unbridled positive energy that highlighted the great work done by event agencies. We were very fortunate to be able to sponsor this first edition. It was a collaboration done under the global sponsorship that unites Eventscase with AEVEA. Our entire management team was present at the Gran Teatro Caixabank Príncipe Pío in Madrid for this event. Congratulations to all the winning agencies and to the AEVEA team for an impeccable organisation.
EVENTSCASE ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE WEBINAR
As we announced in our previous newsletter, we held a live webinar on artificial intelligence and events on 5 March. “AI Unveiled: Revolutionising Event Management” brought together more than 100 event organisers who wanted to learn about the latest trends and developments in AI.
We were graced by the presence of Fatima Barbero, Sr. Global Events Manager at Forto, and Vice President of the Event Managers Association of Spain. Through her unique insights, she was able direct the conversation and guided the audience regarding innovative applications of artificial intelligence in the events industry.
Such has been the success of this initiative that we have decided to keep the registration of the event open until further notice. You can access the on-demand recording whenever you want by clicking on the button below.
GMF ANDORRA
Last week we were on the road for another event with Global Mice Forums. They are experts in organising B2B format events with a reduced capacity and extreme attention to the selection of attendees — and their potential to generate business. This time we travelled to Andorra to meet with European agencies from the UK, France and Spain. As always, we were able to maximise high quality meetings, training and social activities.
The numbers can back up the success of the event. Four out of 5 attendees claim to have generated business and the vast majority recommends its value as a business-generating MICE experience.
Our CEO, Jose Bort and our Sales Director for Spain, Alex Barbero, enjoyed 3 intense days of work with a side of fun.
LAST SESSION: DID YOU KNOW?
Last week, we also launched our latest on-demand content to present the latest developments carried out by our technical team.
On this occasion, the latest launch revolved around the following:
- Our AI Assistant is now available for embedding on the event website.
- The event organiser can now upload pre-scheduled meetings to our new meetings system.
